JAVIER AND THE SANCTUARY

The relationship between the Sanctuary of Lord and Javier was established when the latter, after an outstanding career in tennis and studies in Business Administration in the United States, felt an inner call to help the poorest, which materialized in a trip to a mission in Cuzco.

After serving there for a time, Javier sought silence and dedicated his life to prayer and sacrifice at the Lord's Shrine. Despite the inconveniences, he integrated himself into the work of the sanctuary, joyfully participating in the reconstruction of buildings and in agricultural work. His deep connection with spiritual life led him to profess particular religious vows.

Later he agreed to begin the path of training towards the ministerial priesthood, during which he came face to face with the disease. His life was cut short by a sudden heart attack shortly before receiving the Sacrament of Orders. He left a legacy of kindness and authenticity, showing genuine transformation as he dedicated his life to serving God in the Lord's Sanctuary.
